Manny Cohen
Manny got into Bobsleigh by buying a 4 day Bobsleigh course at a charity dinner and ended up driving a bobsleigh at the age of 51 in the British Championships. Having survived that, he has since become an avid supporter of the sport and had the honour of being invited to be the only civilian to drive at the Combined services championships. Manny says 'the Adrenaline rush and the camaraderie of the sportsmen add together to make bobsleigh an amazing sport. My aim now, is to get the sport widely recognised in the UK. The mad British invented it, and we should all be supporting it. Bobsleigh used to be an expensive sport, but now, with the EU and cheap flights, Bobsleigh is more accessible to a wider audience.'
Together with being on the board of British Bobsleigh, Manny is chairman of the RM Group based in Hertfordshire. A Business Information and Registration company, with Armadillo, the first online database of company information on the Web and e-incorp, the online company registration system. Added to this, Manny is Chairman of Arlesey Town Football Club, who play at the aRMadillo stadium in Bedfordshire,a member of the Royal Television Society and the Woolmens Livery in the City of London.
