Britannia Rescue will continue to sponsor the British Bobsleigh team for the 2nd year in a row. They will provide funding for the team's ongoing training requirements and support in the Bobsleigh World Cup, World Championships, Europa Cup, World Junior Championships and the British Bobsleigh Championships.
Manny Cohen, Communications PR and Sponsorship Director of the British Bobsleigh Association commented on the renewal: "We appreciate Britannia Rescue's ongoing support to increase the awareness of British Bobsleigh. The British invented the sport and we have the potential to be the best in the world. We look forward to celebrating successful times ahead with Britannia Rescue in the new season."
Britannia Rescue is the fourth largest breakdown provider in the UK and is part of the LV insurance, investment and pensions group of companies. The company first sponsored the team in 2009 and the sponsorship will include Britannia Rescue branded bobsleighs and training kit.
