Athlete, Nina Lake enjoys the travelling associated with bobsleigh as well as the ability to compete at a high level sport.
Student, Nina, has many past sporting successes, which include 7th in the U20 AAA’s in 400m hurdles in 2004 and 1st place in 2004 and 2005 in the West of England Championships in 400m hurdles. It was through her athletics coach that Nina became involved with bobsleighing.
Taking the position of sled driver, Nina trains 6 days a week by doing a combination of speed, upper and lower body weights and recovery sessions. Her bobsleigh goals include representing Great Britain in the Olympics.
