Focus

Allyn Condon has been selected to represent Team GB in the four-man bobsleigh at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Vancouver Games are Condon's first Olympic Winter Games.

Condon will earn the rare distinction of having competed in both the Olympic and Olympic Winter Games. A one-time track sprinter, he said he was inspired to take up bobsleigh after watching the film Cool Runnings, but while the film was all about fun, Condon takes his sport very seriously.

As a track athlete, Condon was part of Team GB at the Sydney Olympics, but his greatest achievements in athletics arguably came as part of 4x100m teams that won gold at the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games in 2002. Now aged 35, he works as a personal trainer.
