FIBT Announce Revised World Cup Schedule

The FIBT has decided to hold make-up races for those World Cup competitions cancelled in Cesana December 19-21. The 2-man and women's bobsleigh World Cup races #4 will be held in St. Moritz on Thursday, January 15. The men's and women's skeleton World Cup races #4 will be held in Park City, USA on Wednesday, February 11. The 4-man World Cup #4 will be conducted in Park City on Friday, February 13.

The details are as follows:

St. Moritz - revised schedule
· Monday - Skeleton training already planned for 8 am; bob training session added 12:30-15:30

· Tuesday/Wednesday - No change to training schedule

· Thursday - 2-man makeup race 9:00-10:00, 10:30-11:30; women's bob makeup race 13:00-14:00, 14:30-14:50 (minimum 2nd heat coverage to be provided by FIBT TV)

· Friday-Saturday-Sunday normal European Championship schedule (2 skeleton races, 2man, 4 man and team competition)

Park City - Revised Schedule
· Sunday -Skeleton Team Captains meeting moved from 18:00 to 14:00. First training day for skeleton added 16:00-19:00.

· Monday/Tuesday - normal schedule

· Wednesday - Cesana makeup skeleton races 9:00-10:00/10:30-11:30 (men) and 13:00-14:00/14:30-15:30 (women).

· Thursday - World Cup final skeleton races, men 9:00-10:00, 10:30-11:30; women 13:00-14:00, 14:30-15:30, followed by World Cup final 2-man race 17:00-18:00, 18:30-19:30 (final heat TV coverage of skeleton races and both heats of 2-man bob)

· Friday -Women's Bob World Cup final, 10:00-11:00, 11:30-12:30; 4-man make up race 14:00-15:00, 15:30-16:30 (shipping of 2-man and women's bob sleds to Lake Placid to follow immediately after the 2-man race)

· Saturday - World Cup final 4-man bob, 15:00-16:00, 16:30-17:30 as scheduled
