The best start to the season for some years augers well for 2006/7
Returning from a week training on the ice in Lofer, Austria, there's a buzz about this year's post-Olympics squad.
Track times were impressive, for the newcomers as well as the more experienced athletes. Partnerships are gelling and friendships cementing as the shared goals of international honours come in to focus.
With just one injury sustained, the squad looks fit and determined.
With the October squad training weekend taking place at Bath University this coming weekend (14th/15th) preparations are in full swing for the winter tour starting at the beginning of November.
